Manuscript Preparation Support

Providing authors with guidance, resources, and preparatory assistance to support effective academic writing and publication readiness.

The Journal and Vintage Legal aim to support authors throughout the manuscript preparation process by providing access to various academic and publication-related resources intended to assist authors in preparing manuscripts in accordance with the applicable publication standards, formatting requirements, citation practices, and editorial expectations of the Journal.

Authors may access manuscript preparation support relating to formatting guidance, citation assistance, manuscript structuring, abstract and keyword preparation, title selection guidance, plagiarism awareness, AI disclosure requirements, language and presentation-related suggestions, pre-submission readiness guidance, and other publication-related assistance relevant to the preparation of manuscripts for submission to Vintage Legal publications.

For the purpose of assisting authors, the Journal may provide text-based and video-based resource materials, toolkits, guidance documents, sample manuscripts, formatting checklists, declaration formats, citation guidance materials, and related publication resources intended to facilitate manuscript preparation and compliance with publication requirements.

Authors may additionally receive preliminary editorial observations or general manuscript-related suggestions prior to formal submission, wherever considered appropriate by the Journal or editorial administration. Such observations may include suggestions relating to formatting compliance, structural improvements, citation inconsistencies, clarity of presentation, abstract quality, or general publication readiness. However, such guidance or observations shall not constitute peer review, editorial approval, acceptance assurance, or publication commitment by the Journal.

Basic manuscript preparation assistance and general publication guidance may ordinarily be made available without charge. However, in cases where authors seek detailed professional guidance, extensive editorial assistance, personalized publication consultation, advanced manuscript review, or specialised editorial support from editors or publication professionals associated with Vintage Legal, such assistance may be subject to separate professional arrangements, institutional discretion, or applicable service charges, wherever applicable.

Authors seeking manuscript preparation assistance or publication-related guidance may communicate with the Journal through the official communication channel at publisher@vintagelegalvl.com. The Journal may also, from time to time, organize workshops, orientation sessions, academic discussions, or publication-related training initiatives intended to assist students, researchers, academicians, first-time authors, and early-career scholars in understanding academic writing and publication processes associated with Vintage Legal publications.

All manuscript preparation support and publication guidance provided by the Journal shall remain advisory and facilitative in nature and shall not guarantee acceptance, publication, editorial approval, or favourable peer review outcomes for any manuscript submitted to the Journal.
