Authors Claim and Copyright

This section outlines the licensing terms, copyright ownership, and author rights applicable to works published, ensuring transparency, attribution, and ethical open access publishing.

By submitting a manuscript for Open Access publication with Vintage Legal, authors grant the publisher an exclusive publishing license to publish the work as the sole publisher of record. This license authorizes Vintage Legal to publish, reproduce, distribute, communicate, archive, index, and make the work publicly available in digital, electronic, and other academic formats. The work shall not be published by any other publisher or journal during the term of this exclusive publishing right. This license is granted strictly for scholarly publication, preservation, and dissemination and does not amount to a transfer of copyright ownership.

Copyright in the published work remains with the author(s); however, no economic or commercial rights are exercised or claimed by the author in relation to the publication. Open Access publication under this model is non-remunerative in nature, and authors expressly acknowledge that no royalty, license fee, or financial compensation shall arise from the publication, distribution, or reuse of the work. Authors waive any economic or monetary claims against Vintage Legal arising out of the Open Access publication of the work.

Authors retain their moral rights, including the perpetual right to be identified as the author(s) of the work and the right to object to any distortion, mutilation, or misrepresentation that may prejudice the author’s honor, reputation, or academic integrity. These moral rights remain unaffected regardless of the medium, format, or platform of publication.

The work is published under an applicable Creative Commons license, permitting public access and reuse in accordance with the selected license terms. All reuse must provide appropriate credit to the author(s) and acknowledge Vintage Legal as the original publisher of the work.

Full and permanent attribution and authorship credit is ensured across all forms of publication, indexing, archiving, and dissemination. The author’s name, affiliation, and contribution are clearly acknowledged in the published work and across all platforms, repositories, and databases where the work is hosted, cited, or referenced, in accordance with accepted academic citation standards.

Through this framework, Vintage Legal maintains ethical publishing practices, ensures clarity in author rights and obligations, and supports responsible Open Access scholarship by prioritizing academic dissemination, public accessibility, and long-term preservation of research without commercial exploitation.
