Dr. Pradip Kumar Kashyap is a distinguished academician, researcher, and legal scholar currently serving as an Assistant Professor at CGC University, Mohali(Punjab). With extensive experience in teaching, research, and academic administration, he has made notable contributions to the field of legal education. His areas of specialization include Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, Cyber Law, Intellectual Property Rights, and Educational Administration. Recognized for his commitment to academic excellence and innovative legal research, Dr. Kashyap has established himself as a dedicated educator and mentor.
Dr. Kashyap earned his Ph.D. in Law from Chaudhary Charan Singh University Meerut, where his research focused on the protection of Traditional and Indigenous Knowledge under Intellectual Property Rights. He also completed his LL.M. in Constitutional Law from Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Patiala ( Punjab) with first division and distinction. Additionally, he obtained his B.A. LL.B. degree from CCS University.
Prior to joining CGC University, Dr. Kashyap served as an Assistant Professor at several reputed institutions and gained practical legal experience as a Legal Consultant at M/s Adinath High Court. He has published numerous research papers in national and international journals and has actively participated in conferences, seminars, workshops, moot courts, and faculty development programs. His interdisciplinary research interests include Human Rights, Artificial Intelligence and Law, Cybercrime, Data Protection, Trade Secrets, and Intellectual Property Rights. Through his scholarly publications, legal writings, and active engagement in academic forums, Dr. Kashyap continues to contribute significantly to contemporary legal scholarship and student-focused legal education.
