DR. LAHAMA MAZUMDAR

Dr. Lahama Mazumdar is an academician and researcher specializing in Intellectual Property Law, International Trade Law, and Technology Law. She is currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Law at St. Xavier’s University Kolkata and is actively engaged in teaching, research, and academic writing in the areas of intellectual property and digital governance. She has pursued B.Sc. LL.B. (Hons.) in Intellectual Property Rights from KIIT Law School, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. She subsequently completed her LL.M. in Corporate and Commercial Laws from National Law University Odisha. In 2024, Dr. Mazumdar was awarded her Ph.D. from National Law University Odisha.

She has authored and presented several research papers on contemporary legal issues, including digital citizenship, cybercrime regulation, and the global medicines regime. Her work focuses on the intersection of law, technology, innovation, and public policy.

Dr. Mazumdar regularly contributes to academic discussions through research publications, conference presentations, and collaborative projects. Her current research interests include trademark law, emerging issues in intellectual property governance, and the regulation of technology in the digital economy.
