DR. ARCHANA SHARMA

Dr. Archana Sharma has more than fifteen years of experience in teaching, research, academic administration, and legal practice in the field of law. Her areas of specialization include Family Law, Gender Justice, Human Rights, Environmental Law, and Socio-Legal Studies, with a special focus on environmental governance and sustainable development. She completed her Ph.D. in Law in 2021 on *“Legal Status of Restitution of Conjugal Rights in Present Scenario in India: A Socio-Legal Study.”* Currently, she is serving as Associate Professor in the Faculty of Law at Vivekananda Global University. She has also taught at reputed institutions and practiced as an Advocate at the District & Sessions Court, Jaipur for seven years.

Dr. Sharma has made significant contributions to research and academic development. She served as Co-Project Director of an ICSSR Sponsored Research Methodology Course and has supervised five Ph.D. scholars while guiding six others. Her research has been published in Scopus-indexed, Springer Nature, and UGC CARE-listed journals on themes including environmental protection, governance, gender justice, and technology law.

She has actively organized national and international seminars, conferences, FDPs, and legal awareness programmes. Her academic responsibilities include serving as FDP Coordinator, Moot Court Coordinator, Legal Aid Coordinator, and reviewer/editorial member for reputed journals. Through the “AAPNO SATHI” initiative, she has promoted legal awareness on women’s rights, environmental protection, and access to justice.

In May 2026, Dr. Sharma received the Academic Excellence Award from TV Media Group for her contribution to legal education and research. Her profile reflects strong academic leadership, interdisciplinary research expertise, and commitment to policy-oriented legal scholarship.
