Vintage Legal aims to maintain an organized and transparent communication process with authors, contributors, editors, and associated individuals throughout various stages of manuscript handling, editorial review, publication processing, and related academic publication activities.
Authors submitting manuscripts, publication proposals, book projects, chapters, or related academic works to Vintage Legal publications may receive official communication regarding submission acknowledgement, preliminary screening status, editorial observations, plagiarism or AI-assessment concerns, peer review updates, revision requirements, acceptance or rejection decisions, publication scheduling, proofreading requirements, publication confirmations, certificate issuance, DOI-related updates, and other publication-related developments, wherever applicable.
The Journal or publication administration may additionally communicate with authors regarding formatting corrections, missing documentation, declaration requirements, copyright formalities, publication agreements, author verification requirements, institutional clarifications, editorial queries, publication timelines, workshop opportunities, or related academic and publication matters associated with the submitted work.
Authors may also communicate with the Journal for manuscript-related clarifications, publication status inquiries, revision submissions, publication documentation support, technical concerns, or other publication-related assistance through the official communication channels designated by Vintage Legal.
The institution may maintain internal manuscript tracking systems, editorial records, publication databases, communication logs, or workflow management processes for the purpose of monitoring manuscript progress, publication status, editorial actions, reviewer coordination, publication scheduling, and related administrative functions associated with the publication process.
Vintage Legal shall make reasonable efforts to ensure professional, timely, and structured communication throughout the publication process. However, publication timelines, response periods, review durations, editorial decisions, and communication schedules may vary depending upon manuscript volume, reviewer availability, editorial requirements, publication priorities, technical considerations, institutional processes, or other operational factors.
All communication, tracking systems, editorial records, and publication-related correspondence maintained by Vintage Legal shall remain subject to applicable confidentiality standards, publication ethics policies, institutional procedures, and editorial discretion.
